Horatio Isadore has for the past several years spearheaded the River City Market at the corner of Fourth and Desoto
Streets in Alexandria. This weekend market has been a success due to the vision and foresight of this fine young businessman.

Dr. William and Mrs. RoseMarie Macklin: The Macklins have recently restored the Lacy Bordelon residence at 338 Florence
Avenue and have transformed it into an upscale spa, a bed and breakfast, and a restaurant bringing an international slice
of life and a tropical flavor to Central Louisiana. The Macklins purchased the old Lacy Bordelon home and began an adventure
to breathe new life into an area of Alexandria which is under consideration for designation as an Alexandria Historic District
dubbed "Mansion Row." Four notable mansions exist in a two block area of Florence Avenue and the Macklins have brought new
