October 2007 -- HACL members were excited to celebrate with residents of the town of Lecompte at the unveiling of two historical markers. One is located on Highway 1, across from the famous Lee's Pies restaurant.

 

The second marker is located at the town hall. Residents from across the parish and other historical organizations joined the citizens of Lecompte in their celebration.
